NOCTURNAL RITES Films 'Never Again' Video
March 14, 2007Swedish melodic metallers NOCTURNAL RITES have finished filming a video for the new song "Never Again". According to bassist Nils Eriksson, the track "is a sort of midtempo, in-your-face, heavy-slab-of-meat kind of thing."
NOCTURNAL RITES will release its new album later in the year via Century Media Records. Eriksson says, "This album feels really different, fresh and new. Still it sounds like us, in some weird way. Guess we can't escape the NOCTURNAL RITES ghost. However, we have some REALLY cool songs on the way."
As previously reported, NOCTURNAL RITES has been confirmed for this year's edition of the Sweden Rock Festival, set to take place June 6-9 in Sölvesborg, Sweden.
NOCTURNAL RITES' last album, "Grand Illusion", was released in September 2005 via Century Media Records. The follow-up to 2004's "New World Messiah" was recorded and mixed at Toontrack Studio in Umeå, Sweden and features guest appearances by Stefan Elmgren (HAMMERFALL),Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS),Henrik Danhage (EVERGREY),Kristoffer W. Olivius (NAGLFAR) and the Swedish cross-country skiing world champion, Per Elofsson.
